Bill Shriver Obituary, Death – The news that Bill Shriver has passed away has left us with a heavy heart and a great deal of anguish as we have to deliver it to this church family. It is our responsibility to inform them of this development. Bill and Karen were having a wonderful time in New Mexico, where they had traveled for their vacation, when this event took place. He was rushed to the hospital after passing out this morning (which was a Saturday), but despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be rescued after arriving there after being carried there. Even though he was transported there, the medical staff at the hospital were unable to save his life.
Karen and her sister, who will be there tonight, will spend the evening conversing and enjoying each other’s company. Her sister will be there. Through the use of our Prayer Chain, we have been able to make contact with more members of the extended family of the family, and we have also been able to bring the situation to the attention of a considerable number of additional people within our congregation. On her Facebook page, individuals have already begun to offer their condolences to her family as well as any other friends or acquaintances who were effected by her passing.
These messages may also be directed toward anybody else who knew her and was affected by her passing. Since Karen is still in New Mexico, we will continue at Karen’s pace as she attempts to come to grips with the suddenness of all that has occurred and as she and her family begin making preparations for their transfer. Since Karen is still in New Mexico, we will progress at Karen’s speed. We will go at Karen’s speed since she is still in New Mexico where she is now stationed. Due to the fact that she is now located in New Mexico, we will go at her pace while she is here.
As the Shrivers go through this challenging time, we ask that you remember them in your prayers and keep them in your thoughts. This is a challenging time for all of us, and we know it is challenging for the Shrivers as well. More so in the sense that I am able to teach others what it is that I have picked up along the way. (The Most Reverend and Most Honorable Doctor Ross Slaughter)
