Bonnie Sue Andrew Obituary, Death – Bonnie Sue Andrew (Flanigan), who was 81 years old and originally from Montrose, Colorado, passed away in a serene and unhurried manner on July 14, 2023 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Her birthplace was Montrose, Colorado, and her parents were Fred Flanigan and Wilma (Flowers) Flanigan. She was the daughter of Fred and Wilma. The town of Montrose was Bonnie’s home throughout her childhood, and she attended and graduated from Montrose High School.
After that, she got married to Gene DeVincentis, and the two of them went on to have a daughter and a son together, Gina and Kevin DeVincentis. Bonnie did not meet the person who would become her companion for the rest of her life until much later in her life. That person was Gordon Simoens, and she has spent the last 23 years of her life with him. Being in such close proximity to Bonnie’s extended family as well as her friends was Bonnie’s favorite aspect about living in Montrose.
This proximity made it much simpler for her to raise her children and care for her six grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by her companion Gordon (Kirby, Heather, and Kelly Simoens), her sister Judy Martin, and her niece Marchelle Deines, her two children Kevin and Gina (Kim Hussong), and her six grandchildren Saige, Kira, Seth, and Dawson Hussong, in addition to Kameron and Kalli DeVincentis. in the company of the great-grandchild Cruz.
Her parents, Wilma and Fred Flanigan, and her nephew, Shane Deines, all went away before she did. She was the last surviving member of her family.
