Candance Weber Obituary, Death – According to the Boulder County Coroner’s Office, the deceased woman has been named as Candance Weber, who was 46 years old. Weber was taken from Boulder Creek on Wednesday morning, but she passed away shortly after. An inquiry will be carried out to ascertain the cause of death as well as the way in which it occurred. A call was placed to Boulder police and Boulder Fire-Rescue just after 4 in the morning on Wednesday, stating that a woman who had been sleeping next to the creek had accidentally fallen into the water.
The passing of a person on the Boulder Creek in the past month brings the total number of tragic accidents to three. Romeo Alvarez, age 9, passed away on June 11 after falling off his tube and hitting his head. Bibiana Mendiola Bocanegra, 48 years old, was pulled from the stream while she was in a critical state less than a week later. She passed away on June 18 while being treated in a hospital. It was determined that both Alvarez and Bocanagra were locals of the Greeley area. Despite the fact that wet circumstances have led to increased water levels in Boulder Creek, the creek has not yet reached the threshold that officials have set for imposing restrictions on the waterway.
The creek was scoured by the first responders until the cops found the woman in the water, at which point they began working to get her out. Firefighters performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the woman until she was transported to the hospital in a critical condition. According to tweets from authorities with the Boulder police and fire departments, Weber passed away later at the hospital. There is no indication that there was any kind of criminal activity, as stated by a representative for the Boulder Police Department.
