Carly “Carlee” Russell Missing – On Friday afternoon, the Hoover police department made the announcement that a benefactor who wishes to remain nameless has offered a reward in the amount of $20,000 for her safe return. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the crime. Hoover 911 received a call from Russell at 9:34 p.m. on Thursday evening, which is when the search was reportedly put into motion, as stated by Lieutenant Daniel Lowe.
The search for a woman who vanished after informing her family that she was checking on a toddler who she believed was walking alone along Interstate 459 in Hoover began on Friday. The woman had gone missing after telling her family that she was checking on the child. There is a reward of up to $25,000 being given for information that will lead to the location of the woman. A missing person has been identified as Carlethia Nichole “Carlee” Russell, age 25, who was last seen in the Hoover, Alabama region.
Russell told the dispatcher that she was near to mile marker 11 when she saw a child walking by themself along the shoulder of Interstate 459 between the flyover to the Galleria and Highway 150. Russell’s observation occurred between the two landmarks. After calling 911, Lowe claims that Russell made a stop to check on the youngster and then called a member of his own family to supply them with the same information. Despite the fact that a member of the family was unable to get in touch with her, the phone line was kept active.
Officers who were already on their way to the location where the initial 911 call had been received spotted Russell’s vehicle and some of her belongings in the area, but they were unable to locate either Russell or a child in the general vicinity. No more reports of a toddler or younger child going missing have been received by the Hoover Police Department as of yet.
