Dave Devries Obituary, Death – He was a wonderfully sincere person who truly cared about the people on his team and took an active interest in the members’ personal growth. He was a great leader because of his genuine concern for the individuals on his team. He was an excellent commander in chief. We remember meeting Dave again after a few years with a former player who had returned to the league after a lengthy hiatus in order to convey his thanks to Dave for the fantastic impact he had on his life. The player had returned to the league in order to express his gratitude to Dave for the wonderful impact he had on his life.
The athlete had come back to the league because he wanted to express his gratitude to Dave for the wonderful influence Dave had on his life. The nature of Dave’s influence on the situation was as outlined above in the previous paragraph. In addition, his children Adam and Maggie both took part in the lacrosse activities offered by WLL, and his daughter Leila participated in the softball activities offered by the league. During this trying time, we want to let Dave’s wife, Joanne, and the rest of the family know that we are thinking about and praying for them. I pray that God would bless each of you. The specifics of the service have not yet been made available to the general public at this time.
We are delivering the disheartening news that Coach Dave Devries has resigned from his employment with us, and we do so with a great degree of grief because it is such an important member of our team. Dave has been a part of the Whalley Little League for a significant amount of time, serving both as a volunteer coach and as a supporter of the organization. Everyone who had the opportunity to play with him, compete against him, or receive coaching from him held a highly favorable opinion of him. This includes both the players and the coaches. He was held in extremely high esteem by all.
