Delia DeCaprio Obituary, Death – We are saddened to notify you of the departure of our cherished mother, Delia Faedo DeCaprio, and it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of her passing with you at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause you. We beg that you kindly accept our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. She passed away in the early hours of a Sunday morning at her home, surrounded by her loved ones and friends. Her passing was a calm and dignified experience. We would want to take this opportunity to convey our gratitude to the “Burgundy Team” at Lifepath Hospice for the outstanding care that they have consistently provided over the course of the past week. They have not missed a single shift.
Even up until the day she died away at the age of 88, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had lived a full life. Her life was full to the brim with success and happiness. In addition to this, she was a sister who took an active role in the various activities that the family participated in. Because of the joy and cohesion that prevailed inside our family, our mother felt as though she had accomplished the maximum amount possible in her life. This was the thing that gave her life its greatest sense of purpose and meaning.
We would like to use this opportunity to express our gratitude to you. We take solace in the knowledge that she is free from all pain and suffering now and has been reunited with our father, her parents, and the rest of her family members who passed away before her and who will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers for the rest of our lives even if they are no longer physically present here on earth. This knowledge grants us a certain degree of tranquility.
