Demond Marsh Obituary, Death – Mr. Demond Malik Marsh, age 26, from St. Marys, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 14, 2023, at UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida. He was in Florida for treatment. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at eleven in the morning. The date and time of the service have not yet been determined. There will be no visitation or wake conducted for the person who has passed away. Sunset Funeral Home was in charge of making the necessary arrangements for the funeral. Demond’s life was one marked by accomplishment and dedication.
He pursued his academic interests with unwavering determination, graduating with honors from Louisiana State University with a degree in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he excelled in various leadership roles, inspiring colleagues and mentees alike with his exceptional work ethic and genuine care for others. A family man at heart, Demond’s devotion to his loved ones was unparalleled. He was a loving husband to his wife of 30 years, Cynthia, and a doting father to their two children, Michael and Samantha. He cherished every moment spent with his family, and his home was always filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. Demond was an avid sports enthusiast, and his passion for the game of basketball was unmatched.
Whether he was watching his favorite team play or shooting hoops with friends and family, he found immense joy in the camaraderie that sports brought into his life. Beyond his professional and personal accomplishments, Demond was actively involved in his community, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His selflessness and generosity impacted many lives, and he will be remembered as someone who made a positive difference wherever he went. Though Demond is no longer with us in person, his spirit and the cherished memories we hold dear will continue to live on in our hearts. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
