We are heartbroken to inform you that Dennis Seaton, who resided in Greeneville, Tennessee, passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 67. Fred Seaton and Reba Seaton (G’Fellers); his siblings, Samuel Leonard “Sam” Seaton and Phyllis; his brothers-in-law, Arville Riddle and Billy Carter; his nephews, Anthony “Hambone” Seaton and Tracy Edward Jennings; and his niece, Brandie Riddle Owens; all passed away before him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. His children Samuel Leonard “Sam” and Samuel Leonard Jr. survive him. He is survived by his sisters Fredna Morrison (Garry).
Mary Sue Clark, and Pat Ross (Gene); his step-daughter, Janel Croy; his step-grandchildren Farren Rickets, Sienna Roderick, Haylee, Addison Gosnell, and Madeline Turner; and his nieces and nephews Kristie Morrison Peacock, Jennifer Morrison Forrest, Lyle Ross, and Tyler Ross, as well as George Jennings III. In addition, he is left by a number of Great nieces and nephews, in addition to his much-loved pet cat named “Blackie,” who was adopted by a friend after serving as the personal furbaby of the deceased for a period of thirteen years.
