Drew Lauber Obituary, Resident of Milan Has Passed Away – Death Cause

Drew Lauber Obituary, Death – Drew Chandler Lauber, who was 28 years old and a resident of Milan, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the residence he called home. When he was born on June 26, 1995, in Batesville, he became the newest member of his family, which was already comprised of his parents, Steve and Mindy Firth Lauber. Drew Lauber’s parents, Steve and Mindy Lauber, of Dillsboro, as well as his significant other Morgan Flores, his brother Alec (Morgan) Lauber of Dillsboro, and Drew’s nephew Barrett Lauber, in addition to a number of additional aunts, uncles, and cousins, are among the survivors of Drew’s passing.

Steve and Mindy Lauber raised Drew together with their two children, Alec (Morgan) and Barrett. His maternal grandparents, Denver and Betty Lauber, and his paternal grandparents, Bine and Ruby Firth, all passed away before he was born. His maternal grandfather was named Denver, and his maternal grandmother was named Betty. After completing his high school education at Milan High School in 2014, Drew enrolled at IUPUI Southeast in New Albany to continue his education.

Previous experience in the field of security included stints at the Toyota plant in Hebron, Kentucky, where he worked as a security officer, and at the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital, where he worked in Lawrenceburg. Both of these positions were held by him. In addition to these occupations, he had also worked as a substitute teacher at South Ripley at one point. He was a certified firefighter and rescue technician, and he had previous experience working for the emergency medical services in both Aurora and Dillsboro.

Helping other people, watching movies, being around animals, and spending time with his family were some of Drew’s favorite things to do in his spare time. Funeral services are planned to take place on Saturday, July 22 at 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, which is located in Versailles. Heather Bressert will serve as the presiding minister for the event. The funeral and burial of the deceased will take place in Dillsboro, at the Oakdale Cemetery.
