Eric Webber Obituary, Death – As a direct result of learning of the demise of Coach Eric Webber, I am experiencing a great feeling of loss in my life right now. At the high school in Owings Mills, Maryland, where Eric worked, he served as a coach for both football and track & field. After completing his studies at OM, he decided to pursue a career in coaching and eventually became the head football coach at Dundalk High School. After that, he went on to become the head coach of the football team at Sparrows Point High School, as well as the chairman of the department that is in charge of Physical Education.
In addition to these roles, he also teaches in the department that is responsible for Physical Education. Because Eric was such a wonderful friend and coach, his athletes and his friends will mourn his passing to a greater extent than they would have otherwise. At this time, we are thinking about him and his family and praying for them both. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. The news has left me feeling completely and utterly broken down. My time spent playing for coach Webber will go down as one of the career peaks for me.
At OMHS, he had a significant impact on a large number of students and athletes, most notably those who participated in extracurricular activities. Even though we went on to win the rest of our games that season, we began the season with a defeat, and I can vividly recall his speech that he gave after our first JV game ended in a loss. Despite the fact that we went on to win the rest of our games that season, our season began with a loss.
