Erick Farley Obituary, Death – In Shawnee, Oklahoma, on January 31, 1964, Erick DeLayne Farley was brought into the world by his parents, Joe L. and Judy Lea (Austin) Farley. On the morning of Sunday, July 9, 2023, he passed away at the Hospice House in Oklahoma City while seated in his recliner. By his side were his wife of 40 years, his three children, his parents, and their dog Jake. He was 59.
The El Reno High School is where Erick received his diploma. On May 6, 1983, he wed the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, Danna Bailey, at Coleman Chapel Church in Calumet. His career in the automotive industry began with Hal-Malone Ford, then continued at Frontier Chevrolet, and ultimately led him to Carter Chevrolet, where he is currently employed as a GM Certified Mechanic and Service Manager.
He traveled across the United States in order to repair and install them aboard Navy Black Ops Trucks. In addition to that, he figured out how to make the vehicles run on jet fuel. He was very talented in the work that he did. He went to work so that Danna could stay at home with the children, but he never missed any of the activities that they participated in. He made certain that everyone of them received an education and that they were provided for in every way possible at all times.
Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Calumet, Oklahoma, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 10:00 am. Tony Moore, the Reverend, will preside. Place of interment: Geary Cemetery, Geary, Oklahoma Turner Funeral Home in Geary, Oklahoma, has been entrusted with the services.
