Ethan Berry Obituary, Death – Deputy sheriffs located a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old man named Ethan M. Berry from Medford, Wisconsin, parked off the roadway and down an embankment upon their arrival. As a result of the injuries he incurred in the accident, Berry was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the people riding in Berry’s car, a 22-year-old man from Medford named Qwinton K. Davenport, suffered serious injuries; it is yet unknown what his prognosis will be.
On the evening of Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at around 6:57 o’clock, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office got many calls reporting a vehicle collision with injuries that had occurred on Harper Drive in the Town of Rib Lake, which is located in Taylor County. In addition to this, it was alleged that shortly previous to the collision, two automobiles were spotted racing alongside one another. Deputies from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, along with firefighters and emergency medical personnel, were sent out to the scene.
According to the findings of the investigation into what caused the accident, the person who later died, Ethan M. Berry, was racing another car while driving at high speeds in his vehicle. It would appear that Berry was able to go ahead of the vehicle he was racing, but he then lost control of the situation while he was negotiating a curve on the road. The vehicle driven by Berry collided with a number of trees and then went careening down an embankment before coming to a stop. Both excessive speed and the consumption of alcohol were factors that ultimately led to the collision. A number of people were taken into custody at the scene, and the investigation is still underway.
