Faith Reed Obituary, Death – To the Educators and the Learning Community, We want to express our deepest condolences to you as we break the news that a beloved member of our school community was recently taken from us by a tragic accident. Faith “Ivy” Reed, a sophomore at BCHS, passed away as a result of an unexpected tragedy that occurred on July 7th, 2023. When someone close to you dies, it is extremely challenging for everyone to come to terms with the loss. Even if your child did not know Ivy on a personal level, they may still have some emotional responses upon learning of her demise.
Even if they did not know Ivy personally, they may still have some emotional responses. This is due to the fact that they are aware of her passing away. It is vital for us to verbalise how we are feeling about her loss, particularly the pain and sadness that we are experiencing. It is essential for us to verbalise how we are feeling about her passing. We would like to take advantage of this opportunity to inform you that guidance counsellors will be available at Berea Community School on Wednesday, July 12th and Thursday.
July 13th from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. each day in the Elementary Library. They will make themselves available to students in order to guide them through the process of processing this information and coping with the feelings it evokes. The committed members of our teaching faculty, support staff, and administrative team are always there to listen and provide a helping hand because this is the foundation upon which our community school is founded. We ask that you kindly communicate any pertinent information to the faculty and staff at the school so that we can better meet the individual needs of your kid.
