Fred Kinsey Obituary, Death – On Monday, July 17, Fred Kinsey passed away and went to be with the Lord. Our family would want to spread the news that he has gone to be with the Lord, and our hearts are filled with sorrow as we do so. He was surrounded by those who loved him as he breathed his final breaths and passed away peacefully. Our household has not yet fully recovered from the emotional toll that the loss has taken at this point.
Please understand that despite the fact that we are unable to react to the numerous emails and texts as quickly as we would want, especially to my mother, each one is very important to us and we apologize for the difficulty that this may cause. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to you and your family for the many kind messages, words of encouragement, and prayers that have been sent our way.
The influence that he has had on the lives of a huge number of individuals, whether through his friendships, college classes, or sermons, has been the subject of much discussion. We have high expectations that the legacy he leaves behind, which will consist of a life spent serving others, will be preserved for future generations. Because it brought to mind all of the wonderful things that Fred Kinsey had accomplished in his life, including serving as a pastor, educator, communicator, speaker, and director for the Voice of Prophecy, my friends who are Seventh-day Adventists were saddened to hear the news that Fred Kinsey had passed away.
Among other things, he had served as a director for the Voice of Prophecy. Our office was located in the Silver Spring neighborhood of Maryland at the time. Many people looked up to him as a role model because of his qualities as a friend, a trustworthy witness, and a guide. My heartfelt condolences go out to his loving wife Lynette, his daughter Stephanie Leal, his son Jeffrey, his sister Deloris Kinsey Trujillo, and his brother-in-law Arnold Trujillo, as well as to everyone else who knew and loved such a lovely Christian guy. I will miss him very much.
