Fred Mooney Obituary, Death – Acknowledgement on behalf of Fred (Patrick) Mooney’s family. Fred (Patrick) Mooney resided in Fountain Cottages, Mell, Drogheda, and he died away on June 23, 2023 in a calm and serene manner. On July 23 at 11 o’clock in the morning, Fred’s monthly mind mass will be held in St. Joseph’s Church Mell in Drogheda. This event is being organized by Fred. The family of the late Fred (Patrick) Mooney, who passed away in a peaceful manner on June 23, 2023, would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to everyone who expressed their condolences to us on the occasion of Fred’s passing.
Fred resided at Fountain Cottages Mell in Drogheda, and he passed away in a manner that was quiet. Our deepest appreciation goes out to Lina Ngozi, Patricia and David from Ann’s Home Care, Dr. Conor O’Shea, and the Public Health Nurses from Bluebird Care Agency. The phone calls, messages, mass cards, and letters that were given, as well as the condolences that were written on rip.ie, are all very much appreciated by our family and friends.
In addition, we would like to extend our appreciation to the medical professionals working at both the Lourdes and Cottage Hospitals, in particular the Older Person’s Integrated Care Team working at the Cottage Hospital, which is led by Karen Mc Elwaine. The last three months of Fred’s life were spent getting care at the Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, and we would like to extend our appreciation to everyone who worked there as well as the other patients who lived there.
Many thanks are also made to Father John McAlinden of the Mell parish for giving such a wonderful mass, as well as to Townley Funeral Directors for their aid in organizing the funeral and for the care they provided to the family during this difficult time.
