Gavin Roylance Obituary, Death – The actor Gavin Roylance has passed away. He enjoyed spending time with his friends playing dominoes, going fishing at Lake Brownwood, and watching sports on television, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, or the team he rooted for, the Sudan Hornets. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sudan in addition to being a Mason of the 52nd degree. During World War II, Gavin Roylance served with distinction in the United States Army.
Pete was always more concerned about those around him whom he loved than he was about himself. We shall never forget his peaceful and compassionate nature, his generous heart, and his upbeat attitude toward life. PeeWee, his wife of 66 years, his daughter Nancy Davis of Sudan, his daughter Connie Edwards and husband Steve of Earth, and his son Bo Lance and wife Mary of Sudan are among those who will miss him after his passing.
Gavin Roylance also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Brandi “Monty” Monty Trace: Mandy (Edwards) Edwards Kaufman: Kyle Edwards: Rebecca (Roger) Whipkey: Danya (Ryan) Stephanie Guthry is Guthry in the Logue. Macie (Korey), representing Edwards. Kennedy: Shalah Stanton: Elliott (Ginni) Stanton has fifteen great-grandchildren, including Mitch and Madi Edwards, Gavin, Porter, and Grace Edwards, Tyce and Bayleigh Fisher, Derek Kaufman, Reagan and Rylee Whipkey, Parker Logue, Elijah Kennedy, Camryn and Gunnar Stanton, and Alexis Stanton, in addition to a large number of nieces and nephews. Alexis Stanton is also the aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. His maternal and paternal grandparents, his sister Rene Cole, his brother Bill Lance, and his son-in-law Robin Davi all passed away before him.
