Hans Forbrich Obituary, Death – As a consequence of hearing that Hans Forbrich has died away, we are in a state of great sadness at this time. Hans was not only a devoted patron of the Edmonton Opera but also a well-respected friend of the company; in addition, he served on the opera’s board of directors and sang in the chorus. Because Hans was such a great person, his unquenchable enthusiasm for the performing arts, and opera in particular, will be fondly recalled and terribly missed for all of eternity.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to his cherished wife Susanne Forbrich as well as the rest of his family on behalf of the Board of Directors, employees, and the whole opera community in Edmonton. Susanne Forbrich was his partner for his entire life. His presence on stage, along with his real warmth and strong passion for the opera, were absolutely admirable qualities that shone through clearly at all times. He was a natural at the opera. In addition to that, he was a serious opera buff.
We are going to miss you very much, Hans, and your departure is going to leave a hole not only in our hearts but also on stage. We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you.
