James Laham Obituary, Death – James Gregory Laham, a resident of Chelmsford who had formerly lived in Jamaica Plain, passed away on July 15, 2023. He was 50 years old. Laham is the cherished and loving husband of Lisa (Magnuson). Beloved son of Deborah (MacLean) Laham of Westwood and the late Gregory H. Laham. Gregory H. Laham passed away. Respected grandson of Kathleen MacLean of Winthrop, formerly of Malcolm MacLean, Herbert Laham, and Lorraine Laham, and the late Malcolm MacLean.
Grace and Olivia like having him as their stepfather. Respected sibling of Keith Laham and Jennifer, his wife, who reside in Dedham. Uncle Martin Laham is devoted to his children, Jordan, and Savannah. Respected husband and father-in-law, John and Elizabeth Magnuson’s son-in-law. In-law of Beth Perullo and her husband. In addition, he is survived by a large number of devoted aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as an unanticipated snuggle buddy in the form of a cat named Gus.
James was regarded as the King of the Nerds by his family, friends, and anybody else who knew him well since he was such a dedicated hobbyist. Everyone knew they could count on James to make things entertaining and to tell the absolute best stories, no matter what he was doing—whether it was sitting around a gaming table, playing video games, or going on a golf trip. James was the proud owner of Sullivan’s Pharmacy and Medical Supply, which was recognized as one of the nation’s largest independent healthcare suppliers.
Nothing mattered more to James than looking out for the welfare of others, and he was looked to by a great number of people across his incredibly extensive network of friends and relatives as a source of truth, wisdom, and compassion. In recent years, James has experienced the greatest joy of his life: he married the woman he had been in love with his entire life, Lisa, and became an incredible stepfather to Grace and Olivia.
Our lives are enormously better for having known him, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we were able to spend with him. Unfortunately, he passed away much too soon. It is with heavy hearts that we have to break the news to you that James Laham has passed away. James was the proud owner of Sullivan’s Pharmacy and Medical Supply, which was not only an institution in Roslindale but also one of the largest independent healthcare providers in the entire country.
He had a strong concern for the wellbeing of other people, particularly those living in the Roslindale neighborhood. In this picture, he is shown standing in front of Sullivan’s Pharmacy with his father, Greg. We, the members of the RVMS community, would like to express our condolences to his family. You are able to read the obituary in its entirety online. On Tuesday, July 18, at 6 o’clock in the evening, the pharmacy will close, and it will remain closed throughout the day on Wednesday, July 19 for the services.
