The Anglin Funeral Home will be open for visitation on the evening of Friday, April 22, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on the afternoon of Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Both times, the visitation will take place. The visitation is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 22 in both instances. Anglin Funeral Home, Inc. has been given the responsibility of ensuring that all of the necessary preparations are performed in accordance with the instructions given to them.
On Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the age of 75, Calvin Othell Wallace, Sr., who resided in Dover, Tennessee, passed away at his home. Funeral services will be held at the Anglin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 2:00 pm, and Evalinda Hayes will serve as the officiant for the occasion. Immediately after the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at the Standing Rock Cemetery.
He was born in Stewart County, Tennessee, on September 22, 1940, and his parents were the late Herman Wallace Ross and Kathleen Westerman Ross. His grandparents were also named Herman Wallace Ross and Kathleen Westerman Ross. He was his parents’ son. Mr. Wallace worked in the timber industry all the way up to the point in his life when he decided to retire. He was preceded in death by his brother Orval Wallace, his half-brothers Alvin, Franklin, Marshall, and Leon Wallace, as well as a grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his grandparents. When he was a little child, both of his parents passed away. Both of his parents perished away when he was still a young child. He never got to say goodbye to them. S
