James Shepard Obituary, Death cause – I recently learned that one of my Marine pals from my previous command, MALS-24, has recently passed away, and it appears that they took their own life. The cause of death was apparently suicide. If any of my former Shipmates, Marines, Battle, Coasties, or Airman friends are currently struggling with depression and you feel that you are losing hope and losing that battle inside your head and you just need someone to talk to or whatever else, please do not be afraid to reach out to me or any other member of your military family and know that we will “Always” be here for all of you..
