Jason Cook Obituary, Death – An accident that occurred in South Carolina involving a tractor-trailer and a golf cart resulted in the death of at least one person, according to the local authorities. The collision included both of these vehicles. The state of South Carolina was the location of the accident. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took occurred on State Route 19 on Friday afternoon, not too far from the Conway area.
At the time of the accident with the tractor-trailer, the driver of the golf cart was reportedly attempting to cross Highway 19 when it occurred.
This is according to the comments made by the police. On Adrian Highway, this occurred happened when the golf cart was traveling eastbound in the path of westbound traffic. According to reports, the driver of the golf cart was discovered unconscious at the scene of the accident after being involved in the collision. He was subsequently confirmed dead at the hospital after being transported there.
Highway patrol officers were the ones who offered up the information. The office of the coroner in Horry County was able to definitely identify the driver of the car that was involved in the incident as being Jason Cook, who was 47 years old at the time of the tragedy. However, in spite of the fact that the police were unable to identify in a timely manner who was behind the wheel of the tractor-trailer, they said that the driver had not sustained any injuries as a consequence of the collision.
The surrounding streets were closed off for around three hours as the police conducted their investigation into the cause of the event.
