Jason Diaz Obituary, Death Cause – On Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the age of 48, Jason Jose Diaz passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted family. In Madison, Wisconsin, on October 27, 1974, he was born to his parents, Jose Diaz and Michelle (Olson), Diaz. On February 20, 2020, Jason wed Megan Randecker in the building that serves as the State Capitol in Wisconsin.
After completing his high school education at Monona Grove in 1993, Jason went on to enlist in the United States Army. He served in the military from January 18, 1994, to December 20, 2003. After serving in the military for a while, Jason returned to school and eventually earned certificates as an emergency medical technician in 2004, a firefighter in 2006, and a nurse in 2010. He acquired his nursing degree from Edgewood College.
Golfing, playing softball, and following the Cubs and Packers on the television were some of Jason’s favorite things to do in his spare time. He was also deeply attached to the family dog, Sophie, who served as one of his primary sources of solace.
Jason is survived by his wife; daughters Alexa and Bella Diaz; parents Jose and Michelle Diaz; brother Jesse (Jennie) Diaz; niece and nephews Ada, Cruz, and Hayes Diaz; grandfather Robert Olson; mother and father-in-law of his wife, Richard and Laura Randecker; sister-in-laws Valerie (Kurtis) Heidenreich, Raelynn (Tate Ramaker) Randecker, Melissa (Andy) Ginter
His grandmother, Shirley Olson, as well as his grandfather and grandmother, Maurilio and Delores Diaz, all passed away before him. On Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM, there will be a Funeral Service performed at Ryan Funeral Home, which is located at 220 S. Enterprise Drive in Verona, Wisconsin. On Sunday, July 9, 2023, visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, beginning at 10:00 A.M.
