Jason Mcvey Obituary, Death – Joe Evans McVey, who was 81 years old and had been battling disease for a short time, passed away on March 26, 2022, after losing his battle. On Sunday, March 27, 2022, he was laid to rest in the cemetery. He could not recall the last time he had been in peak physical condition. He was born to the late Ollie and Emmons McVey and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy McVey; two sons, Jeff (Amy) McVey, Lexington, KY and Jason McVey, Mt. Sterling, KY; one grandson, Logan McVey, Columbia, SC; one sister, Nancy Davis, Mt. Sterling, KY; Three godchildren, Dillon, Jaden and Reagan Akers, Mt. Sterling, KY.
In addition to his parents, four other members of his immediate family had already passed away before he was born. These were his two brothers, William McVey and Floyd McVey, as well as his two sisters, Lela Nickell and Betty Smith. His grandparents had also passed away before he was born. Even his grandparents had been taken from this world before he was born. Along with his grandparents, his great-grandparents were removed from this earth before he was even born.
A memorial ceremony is scheduled to begin at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, April 9. The date of the service is April 9. The church may be found in Kentucky, and that state is the location of the church. The visitation will begin at eleven in the morning and continue until one in the afternoon.
