Joan Ashliman Obituary, Death – We are sorry to inform you that Joan Ashliman, the founder of Petals and Promises Bridal, passed away on July 10th. Her passing comes as a great loss to all of us. This news comes as a tremendous blow to all of us, and we do not say it lightly. Joan was revered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, neighbors, and friends. She was also held in high regard by the community in which she lived. She oozed love and compassion throughout her extraordinary journey, and those who had the good fortune to know her were profoundly affected as a result.
When her youngest daughter turned 18, she became an adult, and the two of them decided to start a business together. They are now partners in the enterprise. Their unwavering dedication to one another served as the primary impetus for the progression of the business into larger locations over the course of those many years. She took great pride in giving her granddaughter a job at the wedding shop, and after a period of time during which she witnessed the shop’s successful expansion, she eventually handed the reins of the company over to her daughter.
Joan was able to leave an eternal influence on the hearts of a great number of individuals thanks to her compassionate demeanor, unwavering support, and contagious smile. Petals and Promises Bridal would not be the thriving enterprise that it is today if Joan did not create and run the company. In 1976, in order to realize her dream of being an entrepreneur, she remodeled and converted the garage of her home into a beautiful bridal shop. This was the beginning of her successful business. This deed served as the foundation for all of her following endeavors, thus it was very important. Petals & Promises Bridal Shop came into being as a direct result of this event.
