John Barton Obituary, Death – In the early hours of this morning, John Barton, MD, who was a much-loved member of the Baptist Health Lexington family, passed away. His passing came as a shock to everyone. Dr. Barton has demonstrated throughout his professional life an unwavering commitment to fulfilling the medical requirements of our community’s countless women and children throughout the course of his career.
We would like his family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time together. Earlier on Wednesday, Dave Baker of WKYT took the time to share with his listeners a lot of fond memories that he had of Dr. Barton. A terrible loss for the entire perinatal community; my thoughts and prayers are with his family, his coworkers at Baptist, and his patients; may the love and peace of God be with all those who are going through this difficult time.
This is extremely heartbreaking news for his family, for the Baptist family, and for all of the mothers and babies who depended on him for extraordinary levels of compassionate, intelligent, and smart competence and care. The perinatal community has suffered a significant setback as a result of this. Oh no! Not only has he been observed along with my oldest child, but he has also been sighted simultaneously with both of my twins. Exceptional performer in the medical field.
You have been heard, and the concerns that you made have been taken into consideration with the utmost seriousness! Please offer a prayer for him and his family if you have the opportunity to do so.
