John Mago Obituary, Death – As soon as I learned that John Mago, a close friend of mine for many years, had passed away unexpectedly late the night before, I was struck with an overwhelming sense of grief. I had known John for many years. John was a remarkable example of the human race. It would be something of an understatement to say that he possessed an intriguing personality, but this does not negate the fact that he unquestionably did.
Since the beginning of my acquaintance with John, his health has never been in the best possible state, and this has remained consistent throughout the time that we have spent together. In spite of this, he has never let it prevent him from pursuing his interest in sports and competing in as many road races as he possibly can. He has never allowed it to hold him back. He logs a lot of miles on his treadmill each week.
He had previous experience working as a sidecar passenger, and the activity served as the primary focus of his life at the time. Even after he had acquired his own bike, his determination to compete in two-stroke races remained at the forefront of his thoughts even after he had made the commitment to purchase his own bike. Especially after he had bought a bicycle for himself earlier in the week.
Even though he wasn’t to everyone’s taste, he never lost his genuine enthusiasm for the game, and he showed it right up until the very end… Mago, because you have demonstrated that you are deserving of being counted among the gods of racing, please accept our compliments on the accomplishments that have earned you that right.
