John Manz Obituary, Death – We were saddened to hear about the demise of Most Reverend John Manz yesterday evening, and we are keeping those who were closest to him in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. They have our deepest condolences in this time of loss. Bishop Manz, who was ordained as a priest in 1971 and later ascended to the position of bishop in 1996 after having served as an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in the past, served as an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in the past.
Bishop Manz was advanced to the post of bishop in 1996 after having served as an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in the past. In addition to that, he had at one point in his life served in a position of employment with the Archdiocese of Chicago. We are indebted to him for the uncountable number of years that he has spent providing compassion and care to the people of our Archdiocese and beyond, and for this reason, we owe him a debt of appreciation. We are obliged to him for the years that he has spent giving compassion and care to the people of our Archdiocese and beyond.
They have an urgent need for your everlasting peace, O Lord, and they have an urgent need for your light to shine brightly upon them for all of eternity. We pray that, because of God’s mercy, their souls, along with the souls of all the faithful who have passed away in the past, will one day find eternal peace and tranquility. I hope that they are at peace now in the presence of the Lord. Amen.
