John R. Day Obituary, Death – Dear collegues, Recently, one of our fellow election observers, John R. Day, who was a veteran who had served for a lot of years, passed suddenly. (The photo was taken in 2010 at a social gathering that had nothing to do with politics and was conducted in a private setting.) It was also observed that John Day, who had previously worked as an ambassador, was an amazing and commendable election observer colleague.
This acknowledgment is due to the efforts of John Day, who put in the necessary time and effort. In the years to come, people will remember him with affection while also having a sense of indifference toward him. In addition to having worked in the past as a security guard at Timken Steel in Canton, Ohio, where he had been employed, he was a member of the East Sparta Church of Christ, which can be found in East Sparta, Ohio. This church is located in the same general area as Timken Steel.
He had tremendous pleasure in a number of sports, such as trap shooting, fishing, hunting, and even just spending time with his grandchildren. He found great satisfaction in all of these activities. On February 2, 2019, in addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie Eileen Elliott Day. He was also predeceased by his children. Both of his parents had already passed away before he was born. The previous year was the one in which she lost her battle with cancer and passed away.
There is one son named John S. Day who resides in Canton, Ohio; one daughter named Sara Campbell who is married to Josh Campbell and resides in Coshocton, Ohio; one brother named Carl Day who is married to Cheryl Day and resides in Johnstown, Ohio; four grandchildren named Emily, Natalie, Addison, and Sophia Campbell; and two nieces named Alison Chandler (Kyle) and Casey Day. Every single one of these individuals is still alive today.
