John Secrest Obituary, Death – In the company of some of one’s closest friends and relatives, This is not a piece that I intended to write; nevertheless, despite the fact that I did not intend to do so, it is one that needs to be done for a number of different reasons despite the fact that I did not intend to do so. It is overwhelming since so many people are familiar with this gentleman and his family, and the information is quickly spreading, so we have been working very hard to personally tell as many people as possible about what has occurred in an effort to spread the word as quickly as possible.
On the evening of Saturday, July 15, 2023, John Secrest JR., who was 76 years old at the time, was traveling through the mountains when he became engaged in a car accident that ultimately resulted in his untimely death. His vehicle was involved in a collision after it ran into a huge animal that was walking on the roadway at the time of the incident. At that time, he was the only person traveling in the automobile that was there at that location. Everyone who knew him was familiar with him from the many different aspects of his life, such as his involvement in the community through the several enterprises and organizations in which he was a participant.
Anyone who knew him was aware of him in relation to all of these aspects of his life. The family wishes to express their gratitude for all of the love, prayers, and support that they have gotten during this trying time. They are working hard to overcome this challenge. At some point in the not too distant future, both a notification of the funeral services and a more official obituary will be issued to those who are interested.
