Kalasi Gerrard Obituary, Death – Vale Life Member, Kalasi Gerrard It is with great sadness that we learnt that one of our beautiful Life Members, Kalasi Gerrard passed away this morning. Kalasi played in Dee Why Beach’s A and A reserve team for years. She was a champion sports person, particularly not just in Netball but also running and athletics.
Kalasi’s daughter, Mo’onia represented Manly Warringah Netball Association MWNA from 12 years of age to State League 1, Netball NSW and Netball Australia Origin Diamonds at the World Netball Cup and #Commonwealthgames. She will represent Tonga Netball at this year’s World Cup. Kalasi’s son, Mark represented the Wallabies Australia and NSW Waratahs
Kalasi was justly proud of her kids achievements but her own sporting ability was extraordinary. We will always love her. Our deepest sympathy to Mo’onia, Mark and the Gerrard and Iongi family. She was such a beautiful lady. Condolences to the family
