Michelle Dionne Obituary, Death – There is a possibility that the subject of this photograph is a Black woman named Michelle Dionne Peacock. She is 59 years old. She was murdered by a white supremacist who, despite the fact that she was not transgender, was under the mistaken assumption that she was and killed her because of it. Following his arrest, Tommy Wayne Earl declared that he “would do it again” and warned that he is unable to get along with black people and that he should therefore be kept away from them.
He was charged with two counts of attempted murder. On Friday, June 30, at approximately 1:40 p.m., officers from the Richmond Police Department were dispatched to the Merle Henderson Apartments located on 81 S. 14th Street in response to an apparent homicide that had just taken place there. The apartment complex is located at 81 Merle Henderson Place. A caller had reported to dispatch that a male in the area who was in possession of a knife had been threatening a woman, and that the lady’s life was in severe danger as a result of the event.
The caller had also claimed that the male had threatened the woman with the knife. According to the documentation that was submitted for this investigation, the responding officers found the body of a woman in a gazebo that was situated to the south of the apartment complex where she had been found dead. At the scene of the crime, the victim, who has been identified as Michelle Dionne Peacock, 59, from Richmond, was pronounced dead after suffering a laceration to the throat. Peacock was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
As soon as the police officers eventually located the culprit, a fight broke out between them and the suspect. According to the affidavit, when the police officers first made contact with Earl, he was in possession of a straight razor and was described as having “blood on his hands as well as on his clothing.”
