The funeral service will be performed on Thursday, July 13th 2023 at 10:00 AM. On Thursday, July 13th, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same site, there will be a funeral service held in honour of the deceased. At the Slayden Church of God of Prophecy in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, there will be a burial on Thursday, July 13th, 2023, beginning at 11:30 PM and continuing until 11:00 AM.

His parents, Clarence Herrell and Melinda Wall Herrell, as well as his spouse, Rhoba Clark Herrell, passed away before he did. He is survived by : his children, Jamie Herrell (Kristi) of Charlotte, TN and Pauletta Plaster (Matthew) of Dickson, TN.; his sister Ruth Hagewood of Southside, TN.; his grandchildren, Jacob Herrell, Jace Herrell, Madison Herrell, Levi Plaster, Hunter Plaster and Cody Plaster; his great grandchildren, Kinsely Plaster, Stone Plaster, Dayton Plaster and Yeva Francis; and his siblings, Jimmy, Bradley, Richard Herrell, Angeline Jones, Linda Groves and Betty Jane Neblette.
