Peter Green Obituary, Death – It is with deep sadness that the community of One Can shares the news of the passing of their cherished and long-serving volunteer Treasurer, Peter Green. Peter passed away on the 11th of July after bravely battling a long-term illness. Despite facing many challenges, he remained devoted to supporting One Can with unwavering diligence and commitment.
To honor and pay tribute to Peter’s life, a funeral service will be held on Friday, 28th July, at Amersham Crematorium at 10:45 AM, followed by a service of thanksgiving at the Wesley Methodist Church in High Wycombe at 13:00. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peter’s life. In this time of grief, One Can and the wider community extend their heartfelt condolences to Peter’s family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched and the lives he positively influenced through his dedicated service.
Peter had been an integral part of One Can since joining the food bank shortly after its formation in 2011. Throughout the years, his hard work and dedication made a significant impact on the organization, enabling it to serve the community and those in need. Even during his illness, Peter continued to contribute his time and effort, demonstrating his love and passion for the cause. The community is eternally grateful for his valuable service, and his presence will be deeply missed.
