Philip Barrows Obituary, Death – On Thursday, July 6, 2023, Philip E. Barrows, who was 87 years old and resided in Orland, Indiana, was reunited with Jacqueline Barrows, the love of his life and the lady to whom he had been married for 64 years. Jacqueline Barrows was the woman he had been married to for the whole time they had been together. During their whole time together as husband and wife, Philip E. Barrows and Jacqueline Barrows were happily married.
The first Barrows child was born to Emril and Mildred Vivian (LeMaster) Barrows on July 9, 1935 in the community of Brighton, Indiana, in the United States of America. They decided to give their son the name Phil. His high school of graduation and diploma acquisition was Orland High School, which is located in the city of Orland in the state of Indiana. In addition to that, he found great enjoyment in competing in a wide range of different playing card games, some of which included Euchre, Marbles (Aggravation), and a few more.
He bowled in the league for a combined total of seventeen years over the course of his career. Phil’s other interest was fishing, and you could frequently find him out on the water late into the night, attempting to catch something by baiting hooks and dangling lines in the water. Phil was the definition of the term “social butterfly” due to his incredible ability to strike up a conversation with virtually anyone.
On January 11, 1958, he tied the knot with Jacqueline (Johnson) Barrows, the woman who would go on to become the love of his life and the wife he has been with for the past 64 years. Jacqueline (Johnson) Barrows has been his partner for all of those years. Phil made the decision to leave his position in the cleaning department at International Paper after having worked there for a significant number of years and to retire from the company early.
After Phil retired, he didn’t spend any time getting back to work, so he went to work for a farm in the area where he was in charge of conducting farm work with tractors. He did this for a short while, but eventually went back to his previous job. He was thrilled to be able to put his brain to the test with difficult activities such as word searches and crossword puzzles, and he did so with great enthusiasm.
