Rachel Lee Cullivan Obituary, Death – Rachel Lee Cullivan, age 41, from Mattydale, Pennsylvania, went away suddenly at her home on Sunday. Rachel was born in Ottawa, Canada, but she spent most of her childhood in Coral Springs, Florida, where she attended Taravella High School and earned her diploma in the year 2000. She started her education at OCC and continued it at Syracuse University, where she received her master’s degree in social work in 2017.
Over the past few years, Rachel has been working at the Liverpool establishment known as Conifer Park. Earlier in her career, she held the position of secretary at E.S.F. at Syracuse University for more than ten years. Rachel’s favorite things included slasher films, roller skating, kittens, amusement parks, and beaches. She attended services at St. Margaret’s Church on a regular basis. Robert Emmet Jr. and Margaret (Rochford) Cullivan were Rachel’s maternal grandparents, and they passed away before Rachel was born.
She is survived by her two boys, Keith Eris, who is currently studying abroad in Korea, and Bruce Cullivan, who is currently living at home. She is also survived by her mother, Judy McIntyre, who resides in Pulaski; her four stepsisters, Laurie Roberts, Adrienne Kempston, Kris McIntyre, and Erin Thomas; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved cats, Sundae and Moonshine. Mattydale Junior Fire Dept., located at 173 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, New York 13211; or St. Margaret’s Youth Group, located at 200 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale, New York 13211 are the two organizations that are accepting memorial donations in Rachel’s name.
The Krueger Funeral Home, located at 2619 Brewerton Rd. in Mattydale, will be open to visitors on Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and a Service of Remembrance will take place there at 7:00 pm. At 10:00 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, a Christian burial service will get underway at St. Margaret’s Church. Following the conclusion of the Mass, the family will get together in the Community Room of the Krueger Funeral Home, where they will host a Celebration of Life and invite Rachel’s friends to share their tales and memories of her.
