Ronald Fortado Obituary, Death – In Jacksonville, Illinois, on the 15th day of January 2023, at the age of seventy-six years old, Ronald D. Fortado, a resident of Jacksonville, Illinois, passed away. His entire life was spent in Jacksonville, where he was born and raised. On the 27th of January in 1946, he was born into the world in Jacksonville as the son of Daniel and Helen Scott Fortado. His parents’ names were Daniel and Helen Scott Fortado. His parents’ names are Daniel and Helen.
Those of his siblings who are still with him now are Jim Fortado of Jacksonville, Becky Cederholm and Walt Cederholm of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Regina Doering and Richie Doering of Springfield, and Richie Doering and Regina Doering of Springfield. Richie Doering and Regina Doering of Springfield are still with him today. In addition, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Dody Fortado, as well as a total of 8 nieces, 8 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, and 3 great great-nephews. In total, he had a total of 16 relatives. In addition to that, he was the great-great uncle of a total of three nephews.
In 1964, Ronald attended Jacksonville High School, where he earned his certificate upon completion of his studies. He had been a medical officer for the United States Army and had served in Vietnam between the years of 1965 and 1967. These years span the period from 1965 to 1967. He served in the military from 1965 until 1967, during which time he was honorably discharged. He placed a high value on the time that he was able to spend with those who were most important to him, including his family and his closest friends. Before he passed away, his brother Daniel “Ned” Fortado had already crossed over to the other side. He was the only member of his family to have died before he did before he himself passed away.
