The California Highway Patrol reported that a man in his 20s lost control of his vehicle and it flipped over when two of the truck’s wheels flew across the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes of Interstate 5. They collided with a 2019 Toyota Prius that was being driven by a man in his 66s from Irvine, California.
According to the California Highway Patrol, another vehicle, a 2021 Prius driven by a man who was 28 years old and from Vista, California, collided with the overturned truck that had been driven by the initial man who was 20 years old and who was held responsible for the occurrences. Another car collided with the freshly formed hazardous scene in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, which was initially generated by the suspect’s tires flying over the interstate lanes from the southbound to the northbound side. Before emergency crews could bring the scene under control and clean it up, another car crashed with the scene.
