Sarah Borland Obituary, Death – Sarah Borland has died. Sadly passed away spouse of David F. Borland. Beloved mother of David, who resides in Fort Walton Beach, Florida; John, who is married to Donna and lives in Houston, Texas; Barbara Collins, who is married to Lennard and lives in St. Petersburg, Florida; Katharine Magrann, who lives in Haddonfield, New Jersey; and Gregory, who lives in Hoover, Alabama.
Beloved and incredibly proud grandma of Lisa (Mark), Sara, Greer, Paul, Patrick, John David, Katie, and Matthew. Clare Noelle’s great-grandmother was born in France. A devoted sister of Maryann Canny, John Croghan (also known as Pat), and Bernard Croghan (also known as Bobbie). Aunt cherished by a large number of nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and she received her high school diploma from John W. Hallahan Catholic High School in the class of 1944. In 1946, she became Dave’s wife, and in 1956, the couple relocated to Berlin. Sally was a loving wife and mother who did everything she could to provide a supportive atmosphere for her family.
She had high standards for her children, and she was incredibly pleased with their accomplishments. Sally never allowed financial restraints to prevent her family from enjoying activities like as going on vacation, having a party, spending the summer at Cape May Point, etc. mom younger siblings looked up to mom as something of a role model and trusted advisor as they brought up their own amazing families. Sally was preceded in death by her wonderful parents, John M. and Catherine S. Croghan, her dear sisters Catherine C. Miles and Theresa C. Peltzer, her cherished daughter-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” Stagliano Borland, and her infant grandsons David Samuel Borland and John Joseph Borland. In addition to her husband, Dave, Sally was also predeceased by her wonderful parents, Catherine C. Miles and Theresa C. Peltzer.
