Steven Orsbourn Obituary, Death – It has been determined that Steven Orsbourn has passed away. We express our heartfelt sympathies. The following is a message that has been posted on social media. It reads as follows: “Today I learned of the sudden death of a very talented and really lovely fellow, someone I’ve known since arriving in New Zealand.” In spite of the fact that I had only infrequent encounters with him over the years and that I only occasionally worked with him, he was always genuinely interested in what was going on in the lives of other people.
And I couldn’t help but fall in love with that characteristic of his. He was hilarious, bloody amazing company, and a terrific camera operator, and he had none of the arrogance that you would expect from someone in his position. He was also an excellent photographer. Everyone is certainly unable to find consolation in the news of his passing, especially given how well-liked he was. Steve is left by his beloved daughter Sonya Ielmorini and her husband John, his granddaughter Charlotte, his sister Lynn Rackerby and her husband Doug, his sister Mary Beseda and her husband Todd, as well as a huge number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
Steve will be much missed by all of his family members. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends, who I think to have been quite a few in total. I believe he had a lot of them. In challenging times like these, it is essential to keep in mind the importance of letting the people you care about know that you love them and conveying the significance they hold in your life. Rest in peace, Ors; just like a lot of other people, I’m going to miss you even if we won’t see one other anymore.
