Udo Scheid Obituary, Death – Udo Scheid, who was a resident of Helderberg Village in Somerset West and a member of Saint Peter Parish, passed away not too long ago in Germany. In September, the funeral services for him will be held at that location. On the evening of the Easter Vigil, this church was where his widow, Hazel, who currently lives in Helderberg Village, was baptized, confirmed, and received her first Eucharist. She did all of these things at this church.
Those members of our Parish family who are able to attend and who were also acquainted with Udo and Joep are kindly asked to do so in order to show their support for Hazel, as well as for Marise and her children, during our communal prayer for the peace of the souls of our departed brothers. This prayer will be offered during our communal prayer for the repose of the departed souls of our brothers.
A Memorial Service for Udo will be conducted at Saint Peter Church on Wednesday, July 19, at noon. The service will take place on that day. The memorial service is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. In his honor, there will be a Parish Mass celebrated, during which prayers will be offered for the repose of his soul. The funeral mass for Jan (Joep) Janssen, who passed away suddenly early yesterday morning, Thursday, will be held at this church, Saint Peter Church, tomorrow, Saturday, July 15, at 1pm (1300 hours local time). After that, the body will be cremated.
