William Bedenbaugh Obituary, Death – The person who lost their life as a result of being shot in Batesburg has been recognized by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office as having been the victim of the shooting. On July 7, just after midnight, the body of 56-year-old William Mark Bedenbaugh was discovered in the Batesburg community of Lexington County located on the 1400 block of Samaria Highway. Margaret Fisher, who served as the coroner, concluded that a gunshot wound was the root cause of death. The incident with the shooting took place in Lexington County.
Bedenbaugh was there at the site of the crime when another man began shooting, striking him once in the upper left chest area. Bedenbaugh was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the incident where he was involved, as stated by the officials. Bedenbaugh’s death was determined to have been caused by a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to the findings of a forensic autopsy performed on July 11 at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston.
