Wilson Renwick Obituary, Death –Wilson Thomas “Tom” Renwick passed away on July 9, 2023, at his residence in Hagerstown, Maryland, in the state of Maryland. Sandy Ridge, Pennsylvania is the place where he began his life. His parents, Harry Renwick and Louise Wilson Renwick, gave him life there. In 1951, he graduated from Clearfield High School, which was located in the city of Clearfield in Pennsylvania, and obtained his diploma. He was in the Army at the time of the conflict in Korea and was stationed there as part of his service.
After earning his associate’s degree from Frostburg State University, Tom attended the University of Maryland, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 1959. His retirement from Montgomery College, which was located in Germantown, Maryland, took effect in the year 1989. After he had retired, he went back to school to earn his license in real estate and then started working in the Damascus/Mt. Airy area of Maryland.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Funkstown American Legion, the VFW, the Hagerstown Amvets, the Korean War Veterans Association, the Hagerstown Elks Lodge No. 378, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Funkstown. He also served as a member of the Hagerstown Elks Lodge No. 378. In addition to that, he was a part of the Elks Lodge in Hagerstown, which was number 378.
Tom Renwick is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eileen Millar Renwick; his daughters Cynthia Reynolds (John) and Patricia Renwick (Bill) of Hagerstown, Maryland and Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania; his son James Renwick (Anna) of Chula Vista, California; and his sisters Christine Werner (Larry) of Frostburg, Maryland and Rebecca Peck (Ron) of Springs, Pennsylvania. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren Patrick and Michael Etzel, in addition to Alexa Renwick, and a sizable number of nieces and nephews.
